罪滅者。罪障既盡，漸漸修行，因圓果滿，自然為佛。經言「當得」，意顯後時，非謂現世得成佛果。餘轉滅等義，已於懸談五因中說竟。

"Offenses are eliminated": since the obstacle of offenses has been exhausted, one gradually practices, and when cause is perfected and fruition fulfilled, one naturally becomes a Buddha. The sūtra says 'will attain', intending to indicate a future time, not meaning that one accomplishes the fruit of Buddhahood in the present life. The remaining meanings of transforming, eliminating, and so forth have already been fully explained in the five causes of the General Discussion.
