5.300

真佛法。經意：以前說佛之與法二皆不無。又佛之與法二皆不異。未知何者是佛法真體，而言不無不異耶？故此顯有真如是真佛法，以彰不無不異之義也。

The true Buddha-Dharma. Sūtra's meaning: Earlier it said that the Buddha and Dharma are neither non-existent; and furthermore, that the Buddha and Dharma are not different. One does not yet know what the true essence of the Buddha-Dharma is, such that one says they are not non-existent and not different. Therefore, this reveals that the existence of tathatā is the true Buddha-Dharma, in order to make clear the meaning of neither non-existent nor different.
