識根。經答意云：實可以相比觀法身如來。悟色身者，知應化非真義也。迷法身者，不知法身畢竟非色相義。

Discerning the root. The sūtra's answer means: one can indeed, by inferring from marks, contemplate the dharmakāya Tathāgata. Awakening to the physical body means knowing the sense that the response and transformation [bodies] are not real. Being deluded about the dharmakāya means not knowing the sense that the dharmakāya is ultimately not physical marks.
