不失。經徵意云：「以何義故，今不作此念？」釋意云：「但發菩提心者皆不作此念，故知作此念者豈非過歟。」

Not lost. The sūtra's query means: "For what reason does one now not conceive this thought?" The explanatory intent is: "All who generate the mind of bodhi do not conceive this thought; therefore, know that conceiving this thought—how could it not be a fault?"
