論云下。先敘所遣之念。念云：若出世無分別智，正是佛因，即所修福德盡皆失也。何以故？福非因故。

From "The treatise says..." onward first recounts the thought to be dispelled. The thought says: If supramundane nirvikalpa wisdom is precisely the cause of buddhahood, then the merit cultivated is entirely lost. Why so? Because merit is not the cause.
