三中燈喻識者，理則雖通，義當前五，以六七八識各有配故。

In the third, the lamp symbolizing consciousness: although in principle it applies generally, in sense it corresponds to the first five [consciousnesses], since the sixth, seventh, and eighth consciousnesses are each assigned elsewhere.
