7.2

一切菩薩皆安住此心，行菩薩行。有大智故不住生死，有大悲故不住涅槃。今令離於斷常二見，即是不住生死涅槃。故云如所住法，即七最勝中依止最勝。

All bodhisattvas abide in this mind and practice the bodhisattva path. Because they possess great wisdom, they do not abide in saṃsāra; because they possess great compassion, they do not abide in nirvāṇa. Now, bidding them be free from the two views of annihilation and permanence is precisely not abiding in saṃsāra or nirvāṇa. Therefore it says "according to the phenomenon in which they abide", which is the supremacy of reliance among the seven supremacies.
