From "With subtle..." down: directly shows the two kinds of skillful means, the characteristics of skillfulness. Refuting form possesses both; refuting mind has only one, which eliminates the subtle dust. Because citta and caitta dharmas cannot be analyzed and broken down, while coarse form is prominent and its clinging sentiments are hard to forget, analyzing down to the ultimate atom easily expels false thoughts; hence it must possess both. As the lower text says: "Marks and thoughts are precisely mind and object; because mind and object are both forgotten, it is said to 'eliminate.'"
