"Illuminating the mind-consciousness as possessing virtues" corresponds to Anāthapiṇḍada. Above, being deluded about the father of original enlightenment is called "orphaned" (gu); below, concealing the son of wondrous functioning is called "solitary" (du). Now, illuminating that nature originally possesses merits numerous as grains of sand without any lack is precisely Anāthapiṇḍada. Seeking the Dharma and so forth corresponds to the meaning of a bhikṣu as a mendicant. Externally, one begs for food to sustain the body; internally, one seeks the Dharma to nourish the spirit.
