"Positing..." and so forth: The principle of tathatā is fundamentally neither self nor other, nor not self nor other; to shatter sentient beings' attachment to self and other, it is therefore said to be not self or other. Forcing speech by way of relative contrast, it is therefore called "positing." This, then, posits the provisional name of tathatā, calling it the "great body." Since it subsumes everything, there is no self or other. Therefore the Awakening of Faith says: "This substance of tathatā also cannot be posited, because all dharmas are identical with tathatā."
