"The sūtra reveals, etc.": clarifying the reason why there is a Buddha and his disciples. It means that the reward and transformation bodies must rely on the dharmakāya, and the dharmakāya is in turn revealed through the sūtra. Since there is the teaching that can reveal, there must be the Buddha who is revealed. Furthermore, the sūtra is the dharma of teaching, while the Buddha is the dharma of fruition; fruition is revealed through principle, and principle is attained through practice. Thus the three buddhas are fully provided and the four dharmas are completely fulfilled; how could one give rise to slighting or disparagement toward the place where it is located?
