"Not like the Hīnayāna," and so forth: Because that school is confused about the principle of consciousness-only and does not comprehend that all phenomena are empty, it posits these micro-atoms as truly existing, and therefore speaks of accumulating micro-atoms to form a world. Hence the Abhidharmakośa-bhāṣya says: "Micro-atom, atom, iron, water, / Hare, sheep, ox, crack, city, / Louse, flea, barley, finger-joint, / Each subsequent one increases sevenfold," and so forth. Here this is eliminated; hence it says it is not real dust.
