問意以菩薩修六度萬行莊嚴淨土，現身說法，是有所取，云何不取？答意以菩薩雖修行嚴土，行乃無作，土亦非嚴，非嚴而嚴，故曰即非莊嚴，是名莊嚴。

The intent of the question is: since bodhisattvas cultivate the six perfections and myriad practices to adorn pure lands and manifest bodies to preach the Dharma, this is having something grasped; how can there be non-grasping? The intent of the answer is: although bodhisattvas cultivate practices to adorn lands, the practice is unconditioned (non-contrived) and the land is also not adorned; not adorning and yet adorning, hence it says, 'does not adorn; this is named adorning.'
