「須菩提！若善男子、善女人於後末世有受持讀誦此經，所得功德我若具說者，或有人聞，心則狂亂，狐疑不信。須菩提！當知是經義不可思議，果報亦不可思議。」

"Subhūti, if a good man or a good woman in the final period of the latter age receives, upholds, reads, and recites this scripture, and if I were to explain in full the merit they obtain, someone hearing it might become deranged in mind, harbour suspicious doubt, and not believe. Subhūti, you should know that the meaning of this scripture is inconceivable, and its fruition is also inconceivable."
