前既云從修善法得菩提，則佛所說法是無記法，不能得菩提耶？恐有此疑，故佛舉大千世界中施七寶聚如須彌山之多且大，較之持說四句功德，百千萬億分中乃不及其一。

Since it was earlier said that bodhi is attained from cultivating wholesome dharmas, could the Dharma taught by the Buddha be an unspecified dharma that cannot attain bodhi? Fearing that there might be this doubt, the Buddha brought up giving heaps of seven jewels in a trichiliocosm as vast and large as Mount Sumeru, showing that, compared with the merit of upholding and expounding four lines, it does not equal even one hundred-thousand-myriad-billionth part.
