善現又疑：「既不受福報，云何能獲無生法忍？」須知有漏果報則不應受，無漏果報則受而不取。取謂取著，故云菩薩所作福德不應貪著也。

Subhūti again doubted: "Since they do not receive karmic rewards of merit, how can they obtain the patience of non-arising of dharmas?" One must know that contaminated karmic rewards should not be received, whereas uncontaminated karmic rewards are received without grasping. "Grasping" means grasping and attachment; hence it is said that the merit produced by bodhisattvas should not be coveted or attached to.
