From "Good sons" below, second is encouraging practice. There are three parts: first directly praising and encouraging practice, second questioning, and finally explaining extensively. Now for the first, it first clarifies that ordinary and noble beings cultivate themselves. From "If all..." below, it directly encourages practice. "Why is that?" is the second, the questioning. From "All Buddhas and bodhisattvas" below, third is explaining extensively. There are three parts: first designating the correct path. It was previously called a "gate" because it is without obstruction; it is now called a "path" because it enables passage. From "Therefore, all..." below, second is mounting the correct path and cultivating according to the fourteen patiences. From "This person surpasses..." below, third is citing the fruit to praise its superiority, which has two benefits: first, leaving suffering; second, attaining bliss.
