大王菩薩修護佛果為若此者，總結，答上護果義也。護般若波羅蜜者為護薩婆若者，廣舉其因，為成其果。欲明因無別因，由果故因；果無別果，由因故果，是故護因即為護果。十八不共法（乃至）五分法身者，廣舉果德由因得也。

As for "Great King! A bodhisattva's cultivation and protection of the buddha-fruit is like this": this concludes and answers the above meaning of protecting the fruit. As for "to protect the prajñāpāramitā is to protect sarvajñā": it broadly adduces the cause in order to accomplish the fruit. It intends to clarify that causes have no distinct cause—because of the fruit there is the cause; the fruit has no distinct fruit—because of the cause there is the fruit. Therefore, protecting the cause is itself protecting the fruit. From "the eighteen unshared dharmas" down to "the five-part dharmakāya": this broadly adduces the virtues of the fruit as obtained from the cause.
