第五復明清信女眾，有四：初舉數、二標名、三歎德、四總結。初十千者，舉數。清信女者，標名。外國云優婆夷，此云清信女，夷者名女。皆行阿羅漢者、十地等，如上說。始生，入地心。住生，經𢝜住地心。終生，滿地心。三十生者，十地一一地各有三生，謂入、住、滿，十地合為三十生也。皆成就者，第四總結也。

The fifth part further explains the assembly of women of pure faith, having four sections: first, presenting the number; second, indicating the designation; third, praising their virtues; fourth, the general conclusion. First, "ten thousand" presents the number. "Women of pure faith" indicates the designation. In foreign countries they are called upāsikā; here they are called "women of pure faith", ī being the term for female. "All practicing the arhat" and "the ten grounds" are as explained above. "Initial birth" is the mind entering a ground. "Abiding birth" is the mind dwelling and enduring in a ground. "Final birth" is the mind fulfilling a ground. Regarding "thirty births": in each of the ten grounds there are three births, namely entering, abiding, and fulfilling; the ten grounds together make thirty births. "All accomplished" is the fourth, the general conclusion.
