2.39

九地四者，初住百萬億下，明所化土。二作三禪王下，明增上生相。《地經》作梵王，王二千界，《瓔珞》云「作淨居天王」。三修百萬億下，明所知法門。四四無礙智下，明利他行相，以四辨化眾生也。

Regarding the four aspects of the Ninth Bhūmi: First, from "abides in a hundred thousand koṭis" onward, it clarifies the lands where transformation takes place. Second, from "becoming a king of the Third Dhyāna" onward, it clarifies the marks of superior rebirth. The Bhūmi-sūtra states, "becomes a Brahmā king, ruling over two thousand realms;" the Yingluo jing says, "becomes a king of the Śuddhāvāsa devas." Third, from "cultivates a hundred thousand koṭis" onward, it clarifies the Dharma gates that are known. Fourth, from "four unobstructed knowledges" onward, it clarifies the marks of practicing benefit for others, which is using the four analytical knowledges to transform sentient beings.
