From "The Buddha addressed the assembly of devas who had attained the fruits and reality of the path" onward is the fourth [section], where the Buddha recounts and praises Moonlight's having long made offerings to many buddhas. The text has five parts: first, revealing Moonlight's original and trace [manifestations]; from "It is so, it is so" onward is the second, a brief endorsement; third, from "Good sons" onward down to "having mind and having no mind," an extensive endorsement; fourth, from "For this reason, the merits of prajñā" onward down to "unfathomable," praising prajñā's forgetting words and transcending attachment, like wind moving in empty space; fifth, from "Good sons, this treasure of merit" down to "merit," weighing the superior and inferior qualities of what was spoken by Moonlight versus what was spoken by the thirteen Dharma masters. Within the first part, revealing the trace, there are two: first, addressing the assembly of worthies and sages who have attained the path in heaven; second, from "Good sons" onward, revealing Moonlight's trace. As for "fourth dwelling": in terms of the doctrine of the ten grounds, this is the fourth ground, the Ground of Radiant Wisdom (Arcismatī); the "eighth dwelling" is the eighth ground, the Immovable Ground (Acalā). "Lion's roar" praises the teaching as an explicit and definitive discourse. From "It is so" onward, the second part, the brief endorsement, contains two phrases: first, endorsing what Moonlight spoke; second, citing the Buddha to certify and verify it. "It is so, it is so" is an expression of approval.
