From "For example" onward is the exposition by analogy. Where it says "for example, just as when someone ascends a grand, high tower," this is the Tathāgata ground. The Tripiṭaka Master says: There are five [aspects to the] analogy: 1. the highest, because it is the summit of all; 2. real and indestructible, like the Buddha fruit which is eternally abiding and difficult to scale; 3. returning to the source, transcending both ordinary beings and nobles; 4. intrinsically tranquil, like the Buddha being free from arising and ceasing; 5. a resting place of peace and bliss, just as in tranquil contemplation and illumination nothing is not seen clearly. Where it says "abiding in the samādhi of exhausting principle is also like this," this is the application of the analogy. From "Constantly cultivating all practices" onward is the third [part], concluding and encouraging [entry into] the stage. "Entering the bhagavat stage" is translated here as "the stage of bestowing virtue"; because one can shower the Dharma like clouds and rain, it is also called "the stage of delivering through destruction." Meditation and wisdom being complete, it is therefore called "the Buddha-wisdom samādhi."
