"They have already surpassed all good grounds of the two vehicles, and all buddhas and bodhisattvas nurture these ten minds as the sacred embryo. Next arises the lineage of nature of dry wisdom, which has ten kinds of minds, namely the four mindfulness bases—body, sensation, mind, and dharmas, as impure, painful, impermanent, and non-self; the three mindfulness bases; and the three wholesome roots—loving-kindness, giving, and wisdom. The three mindfulness bases are namely the three times: past patience of causes, present patience of causes and fruits, and future patience of fruits."
