"Great King! The six consciousnesses of ordinary beings are coarse, and therefore grasp conventional designations: immeasurable conventional dharmas of form, such as blue, yellow, square, and round. The six consciousnesses of sages are pure, and therefore grasp real dharmas: all real dharmas of form, such as visible form, sound, odor, taste, and touch. 'Sentient beings' is a name of conventional truth; whether existent or non-existent, that which merely arises from the recollections and thoughts of sentient beings is called conventional truth."
