"Skillfully functioning without realizing, neither sinking nor emerging nor arriving—this is the contemplation of upāya. Just as water and waves are neither one nor different, and so forth up to all practices, pāramitās, dhyāna concentrations, and dhāraṇīs being neither one nor dual. Thus the two practices are fulfilled, and because they cultivate practice for four asaṃkhyeya kalpas, they enter this gate of the treasury of virtues. Because karmic residues of birth in the three realms are absent, they finish the old and do not create the new. Through the power of vows they transform and take birth in all pure lands, and because they constantly cultivate the contemplation of relinquishment, they ascend to the stage of kumārabhūta, constantly bestowing the four great treasuries of jewels upon people."
