Question: If so, how are they able to arrive? Answer: According to the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa, those with the base of psychic power can come by their own power; for those whose psychic power is weak and those without superknowledges, it is by the power of the Buddhas of those lands, or by the power of the great bodhisattvas they accompany, or by the power of Śākyamuni's light. They could come through even one power, how much more so through three powers! Just as when a wheel-turning sage king flies up into heaven, the fourfold army, palaces, and even domestic beasts all fly along. Because the merit and power of a wheel-turning sage king are great, he can make them all follow and fly along. Here it is also like this: although they lack power of their own, they are able to come through the power of others; thus there is no fault. This is explained extensively in fascicle thirteen of the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa.
