釋曰：第十二、明變化眾。文別有二：初明單化，後「華上皆有」下明其重化。前中有二：一明所依、二明能依眾。此明所依，有其三種：一者化土、二者化虛、三者化華。梵云須彌寶華，此云妙高華。

Commentary: Twelfth, explaining the assembly of magical apparitions. The text divides into two: first, explaining the single apparition, and later, below 'Above the flowers were all...', explaining the redoubled apparition. In the former there are two parts: first, explaining the bases; second, explaining the assembly supported by them. In explaining the bases, there are three kinds: first, magical lands; second, magical space; third, magical flowers. In Sanskrit it is called 'Sumeru jeweled flowers', which here is translated as 'wondrous high flowers'.
