問：上明放光、後明出華，此有何意？依《本記》云「放光意顯斷眾生愚，出華意顯修因得果，如華顯果。」

Question: Above it explains emitting light, and later it explains producing flowers; what is the meaning of this? According to the *Original Record*: "The meaning of emitting light is to reveal the cutting off of sentient beings' ignorance; the meaning of producing flowers is to reveal cultivating the cause and attaining the fruit, just as flowers reveal the fruit."
