釋曰：第三、正申疑情。謂前放光等，說四《般若》。今後放光，斯作何事？理應具說雨華動地，就初而說且申放光。

Commentary: Third, directly expressing their feelings of doubt. This means that previously, by emitting light and so forth, he taught the four Prajñā[-sūtras]. Now that he again emits light, what is this being done for? In principle, it should fully state the raining of flowers and the quaking of the earth, but speaking in terms of the beginning, it only expresses the emission of light.
