釋曰：第二、問答廣釋。於中有二：先問、後答。此即月光乘前起問。問有二意：一問護佛果因緣、二問護十地行因緣。

Commentary: Second, extensive explanation through question and answer. Herein there are two: first the question, then the answer. This is Moonlight raising questions based on what preceded. The questions have two purposes: first, asking about the causes and conditions protecting the fruit of Buddhahood; second, asking about the causes and conditions protecting the practice of the ten bhūmis.
