釋曰：第三約用讚德。文別有二：初讚等覺、後讚妙覺。此即初也。謂第十地末後一念，能破二障，如金剛破物。

Commentary: Third is praising virtue in terms of function. The text has distinctly two parts: first, praising virtual enlightenment; second, praising wonderful enlightenment. This is the first. That is, the final thought-moment of the tenth bhūmi can shatter the two obscurations, just as a diamond shatters objects.
