釋曰：第八、釋等觀地。亦有五句。言雙照方便神通智者，雙照真俗互不相違為方便，於入觀中能發神通，故名神通智。

Commentary: Eighth, the explanation of the stage of Equal Contemplation. It also has five phrases. 'The knowledge of supernormal powers through the expedient of dual illumination': illuminating both the ultimate and conventional without mutual contradiction is the expedient; within meditative contemplation being able to manifest supernormal powers is therefore called the knowledge of supernormal powers.
