釋曰：第三、顯其勢力。文別有二：初之一偈對佛辨力、後一偈半就菩薩辨。前中有二：初之二句標三伏忍、後有二句正讚勢力。此即初也。若依《本記》，初句總標三十忍、次句別配三位。言十信者，即十信位。十止者，即十解位。十堅心者，即十行位。今解：不爾。十信即十解亦名十住，十行名十止，十迴向名十堅心，如上已說。

Explanation: Third, revealing their power. The text is divided into two: first, one verse distinguishes the power in relation to the Buddha; afterward, one and a half verses distinguish it with respect to bodhisattvas. The former part has two: the first two lines identify the three suppression patiences; the last two lines directly praise the power. This is the first. According to the *Benji*, the first line generally designates the thirty patiences, and the next line individually assigns the three stages. As for 'the ten faiths', these are the stages of the ten faiths. 'The ten cessations' are the stages of the ten understandings. 'The ten resolute minds' are the stages of the ten practices. Now the explanation is: this is not so. The ten faiths are the ten understandings, also called the ten abodes; the ten practices are called the ten cessations; the ten dedications are called the ten resolute minds, as has already been stated above.
