釋曰：第三、總結二利。上來明信不退者，說伏忍位。又解：「一切菩薩」已下一偈半說信忍方便，以《莊嚴論》說僧祇末上品信故，於理無違。

Commentary: Third, this summarizes both benefits. The preceding explanation of non-retrogression of faith refers to the stage of suppression patience. Alternatively, it is explained: from "All bodhisattvas" downward, the one and a half verses speak of the skillful means of faith patience, because the Mahāyānasūtrālaṅkāra speaks of superior faith at the end of an asaṃkhyeya [kalpa]; thus there is no contradiction in principle.
