釋曰：第二、就位讚德。謂始從三賢至灌頂位，有漏未盡。言住果報，唯佛一人，生死報盡、無有漏法，故居淨土。

The commentary states: Second, praising virtue in terms of stages. This means that from the three stages of worthies up to the stage of empowerment, the defilements have not yet been exhausted. The phrase 'dwelling in the retributive result' means that the Buddha alone has exhausted the retribution of birth-and-death and is free from defiled phenomena; therefore, he 'dwells in the pure land.'
