釋曰：第二、反釋一異之失。一亦不續，無續義故。異亦不續，條然別體，無續義故。

Commentary: Second, explaining through negation the faults of being one or different. If one, there is also no continuity, because there is no sense of continuation. If different, there is also no continuity, because being distinctly separate entities, there is no sense of continuation.
