釋曰：第二、謂依佛果顯用空相。文別有二：初明無見用、後明無受用。此即初也。五眼成就時者，總舉五眼，意取後三，肉天二眼非般若故。三眼見時無能見相，即是空義。

Explanation: Second, revealing the mark of the emptiness of its function according to the buddha-fruit. The text has two distinct parts: first, explaining the function of non-seeing; thereafter, explaining the function of non-appropriation. This is the first. Regarding "when the five eyes are perfected," it generally mentions the five eyes, but the intended meaning takes the latter three, because the fleshly and heavenly eyes are not prajñā. When the three eyes see, there is no mark of a seer, which is precisely the meaning of emptiness.
