3.18

釋曰：第三、明供養法。大別有三：初明三事供養三寶，謂燈、香及華。言百燈等者，一一座前各有一燈一華一香。若不爾者，便成萬華，其事難成。

Exposition: Third, explaining the method of making offerings. Broadly, there are three parts: first, explaining the three items offered to the Three Jewels, namely lamps, incense, and flowers. Regarding the 'one hundred lamps' and so on: before each seat there is one lamp, one flower, and one [censer of] incense. If it were not so, there would be ten thousand flowers, and such a thing would be difficult to accomplish.
