釋曰：第二、辨觀差別。於中有五：一行觀行、二滅障、三知俗、四練觀、五修行。此即初也。言行十慧觀者，謂四念處、三善根及三世觀，如前〈教化品〉中說。

Commentary: Second, distinguishing the differences in contemplation. Herein there are five: first, practicing contemplative action; second, extinguishing hindrances; third, knowing the conventional; fourth, refining contemplation; and fifth, cultivation. This is the first. As for "practicing the ten wisdom contemplations," it refers to the four applications of mindfulness, the three roots of good, and the contemplation of the three times, as explained above in the "Chapter on Teaching and Transformation."
