釋曰：第二、辨修差別。文別有二：初顯二智別相、後「如是善男子」下重顯二智同異。前中有二：初立二章、後「入無相捨」下別釋二章。此即初也。言平等忍者，第一章明其實智離有無相，名平等忍。言修行四攝念念不去心者，立第二方便智，謂以四攝化眾生，名方便智。

Commentary: Second, distinguishing the differences in cultivation. The text has two parts: first, revealing the distinct characteristics of the two wisdoms; and second, from "such good sons" onward, re-clarifying the identity and difference of the two wisdoms. In the former there are two: first, setting up two headings; and second, from "entering signless renunciation" onward, specifically explaining the two headings. This is the first. As for "equal patience," the first heading clarifies that real wisdom is free from the characteristics of existence and non-existence, and is called equal patience. As for "cultivating the four means of embracing, from thought-moment to thought-moment never leaving the mind," it sets up the second, expedient wisdom, meaning using the four means of embracing to transform sentient beings, which is called expedient wisdom.
