釋曰：第三、入位時分。伽羅陀者，此云度邊。謂此位中，離於邊鄙下賤諸見，故云伽羅陀。雖有此釋，未勘誠文。謂六大僧祇集無量明故，入伽羅陀位，以無相行受持諸法。

Explanation: Third, the temporal stage of entering the rank. As for *kāla-dhāra* (伽羅陀), this is translated as 'crossing the boundary' (*pāragata*). It means that within this rank, one is free from base and low views at the extremes, hence it is called *kāla-dhāra*. Although there is this interpretation, reliable scriptures have not yet been examined [to confirm it]. It means that because through six great asaṃkhyeyas one gathers immeasurable clarities, one enters the rank of *kāla-dhāra*, receiving and holding all dharmas by means of signless practice.
