釋曰：自下第二辨觀差別。文別有三：初明有無觀、次辨十力觀、後顯登位差別。前中有二：初配屬忍位、後正明有無觀。此即初也。謂於三品無生忍中，住中品忍也。

Explanation: Below is the second [division], explaining the differences of contemplation. The text has three divisions: first, clarifying the contemplation of existence and non-existence; next, explaining the contemplation of the ten powers; afterwards, showing the distinctions of ascending the stage. Within the former there are two: first, assigning it to the stage of patience; afterwards, directly clarifying the contemplation of existence and non-existence. This is the first. It means that among the three grades of anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti, one abides in the intermediate grade of patience.
