釋曰：此顯第二斷義狹故。初地已上無漏信位，方能欲斷。言無相者，即是無漏也，無有漏相故名無相。謂無相信為無間道，斷滅一切煩惱、生解脫道，照見第一義諦。

Explanation: This shows the second [part], because the meaning of eradication is narrow. Only from the first bhūmi upward, in the stage of untainted faith, is one able to eradicate. 'Markless' means untainted; because there are no tainted marks, it is called markless. It means that markless faith serves as the path of immediate succession (ānantarya-mārga), eradicating all afflictions and generating the path of liberation (vimukti-mārga), which illuminates and sees paramārtha-satya.
