釋曰：第五、明菩薩益。於中有二：初明十千菩薩得三昧益、後顯十億菩薩現成佛益。前中有二：初明能證人、後辨所證定。此即初也。謂此皆是地上菩薩，得同體大悲，憐念未來惡世眾生也。

Explanation: Fifth, explaining the benefit to the bodhisattvas. Herein there are two [parts]: first, explaining the benefit of the ten thousand bodhisattvas attaining samādhi; second, revealing the benefit of the one billion bodhisattvas presently attaining buddhahood. In the former there are two [parts]: first, explaining the persons capable of realization; second, distinguishing the samādhis realized. This is the first. It means that these are all bodhisattvas of the bhūmis who, having attained great compassion of the same substance, have pity on and are mindful of sentient beings in future evil ages.
