釋曰：第二、明所證定。於中有三：初明緣果定、次顯緣義定、後顯得餘定。此即初也。謂佛果德妙窮真俗，故云妙覺。照理圓盡，故曰圓明。不沮壞故，云金剛。今此菩薩證得緣三之定，從所緣為名也。

Explanation: Second, explaining the samādhis realized. Herein there are three [parts]: first, explaining the samādhi focused on the fruit; next, revealing the samādhi focused on the truths; finally, revealing the attainment of other samādhis. This is the first. Because the virtues of the Buddha fruit wondrously exhaust both ultimate and conventional, it is called 'wondrous awakening'. Because it completely illuminates principle, it is called 'circular brightness'. Because it cannot be broken down, it is called 'vajra'. Now these bodhisattvas realize the samādhi that focuses on these three, taking its name from the object of cognition.
