釋曰：自下第二正釋經文。前品已明勸學流通，故此品明付囑流通。於中有二：初明付囑誡勸、後「爾時無量」下依教奉持。前中有二：初累標付屬誡勅、後廣釋付囑誡勸。此即初也。誡謂誡勸，即標七誡。勅謂教勅，明其付囑。等言等取餘大眾也。

Explanation: From here downward is the second, directly explaining the sūtra text. Since the previous chapter already explained exhorting study and dissemination, this chapter explains entrustment and dissemination. Herein there are two [parts]: first, explaining the admonitions and exhortations of the entrustment; second, from 'At that time, immeasurable' downward, upholding it in accordance with the teaching. In the former there are two [parts]: first, repeatedly indicating the admonitions and commands of the entrustment; second, broadly explaining the admonitions and exhortations of the entrustment. This is the first. 'Admonish' refers to admonishing and exhorting, which indicates the seven admonitions. 'Command' refers to instructing and enjoining, clarifying the entrustment. The word 'all' includes the rest of the great assembly.
