The commentary explains: As the text makes clear, there is no need for repeated explanation. Question: Were these transformationally manifested ones emanated by Śākyamuni, or emanated by other buddhas? Answer: Neither involves any fault. They symbolize the supreme efficacy and auspicious portents of the Dharma, and also symbolize that the substance of the land is non-dual in purity and defilement, and symbolize that the Dharma preached is non-dual in true and transformational nature. Or, great bodhisattvas adorned the bodhimanda to attract and gather those present and future, inspiring them to joyfully enter, and therefore manifested these transformations. From here, the second part explains their pervading all lands. What is its meaning?
