解曰：此十菩薩萬行皆修，略隨其名彰勝行。普光菩薩者，如光普照不簡高下，菩薩濟利不簡怨親。蓮華手菩薩者，眾行如蓮，不染塵垢也。從此第二歡喜破簡對。

Commentary: These ten bodhisattvas all cultivate the myriad practices, and their superior practices are briefly made manifest in accordance with their names. Bodhisattva Samantaprabha ("Universal Light"): just as light universally illuminates without discriminating between high and low, the bodhisattva's benefiting and rescuing does not discriminate between enemy and friend. Bodhisattva Padmapāṇi ("Lotus-in-Hand"): his multitude of practices is like a lotus, unstained by dust and defilement. Next is the second [pair], the pair of Joy and Overcoming Discrimination.
