解曰：頂禮合掌，身業恭敬。一心觀佛，意業恭敬。默然退坐，唯希法雨。明序分竟。

Commentary: Bowing their heads and joining palms is reverence of physical action. Single-mindedly gazing upon the Buddha is reverence of mental action. Silently withdrawing and sitting down indicates that they solely hoped for the rain of Dharma. This concludes the explanation of the introductory portion.
