解曰：性種性者，上言性者，以前習種所修習性而成此性，故云性也。言種性者，以前種現如同類因，引生於此，名種性也。即性之種，種之性矣。

The commentary explains: As for 'nature lineage', the 'nature' mentioned above means that the practiced nature of the previous acquired lineage matures into this nature; hence it is called 'nature'. As for 'lineage', the previous seeds and manifestations act like homogeneous causes to induce and produce this [stage]; hence it is called 'lineage'. That is, the seed of the nature, the nature of the seed.
